ATC Grapeseed Oil:Looking Good While Taking a Shameless Selfie

Who loves taking selfies?

Everyone does!  Three cities in the Philippines are in the “Top 10 Selfiest Cities” (Makati and Pasig in the no.1 position and Cebu City at the no. 9th!)

Selfie dito, group pic doon! In this day and age where we’re obsessed with capturing the moment and uploading our pictures online,  we can’t help but feel the need to look presentable all the time. That’s why it’s no surprise that people are becoming more fashionable (fashown).

Ditch Diabetes with BitterGo!

Diabetes is the 8th leading cause of death in the Philippines.

It is a disease that is painful to endure in so many ways. The physical and psychological agony that diabetic patients have to bear is simply inconceivable. The drug maintenance and dialysis (resulting from the diabetes’ complications) that requires at least three sessions per week, regular checkups, insulin injections, and other ways to manage diabetes is undoubtedly painful on the pocket as well. As the folks always say, ‘masakit sa bulsa’.

Reducin: Be Right on Track with Your Weight Goals

Aminin!

Masarap kumain!

And since we are always rushing, cooking “mom’s way” is a lost art.

Our alternative of choice – even for our little kids – is fastfood.

Livermarin: Love Your Liver

We usually take our liver for granted.  But did you know that your liver is responsible for different functions that keep your body strong and healthy.  This very important body organ is a virtual powerhouse, responsible for weight loss, digestion, blood sugar, energy and a lot more.
That is why your liver should be your no. 1 priority to restore your overall health.
Sadly, we Filipinos tend to abuse our liver.
According to a report by Euromonitor, Filipinos are the 3rd heaviest drinkers in the world. While many people think of this as a feat to be proud of, doctors would disagree. Excessive alcohol consumption is one of the leading causes of liver disease. Any liver disease is a serious condition, so much so that it often leads to complications that are difficult to treat.

Display Tuscan Beauty in your Home

Home decor is important as it sets the tone for a specific space. Some homeowners select themes based upon personal connections with an era, region or the meaning behind a theme. One theme that is popular in home decor is the fleur de lis.

Meaning of the Fleur De Lis

fleur_de_lis
The fleur de lis carries several meanings. For some, it is symbolic of life and happiness. Another meaning of this French symbol is perfection. Perfection is a broad spectrum in itself and this symbol is easily recognizable as such. Some also find the fleur de lis to mean light, or in other words, a positive attitude. Presenting a fleur de lis item to someone going through a difficult time to give them hope for a good outcome shows compassion and an interest in their happiness.

Accessories for your Home

The fleur de lis is an ideal item for home decor. It gives a room a positive vibe. A variety of display pieces such as plates, vases and wall hangings are all the types of items produced with this symbol on it. Classic Tuscan designs often inspire the creation of different décor items. Wall plaques and singular items provide a pronounced representation of the symbol. Selective placement of these items can help convey a specific message to those living in and visiting your home.
Fleur de lis decor is an expressive way of creating and maintaining themes and personal beliefs in your home in a tasteful way. With a careful design plan, the items will blend in with existing decor rather easily. Many homeowners like to display this symbol in the entryway of their home as a greeting and as a reminder to always maintain a positive outlook regardless of the desperation of a situation. Tree Top Adventure Baguio: Extreme Press Conference and Tour

It’s Panagbenga week!  If you are coming up to Baguio to witness the colorful Baguio Flower Festival, you can find the schedule here.

And as the City of Pines welcomes the summer season, Tree Top Adventure will hold a press conference and media tour on March 14, 2015 press conference and media tour on March 14, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Tree Top Adventure Baguio Camp John Hay, Baguio City. The press conference aims to inform the public that if they want to experience the extreme, they might want to try out the activities at Tree Top Adventure.

TREETOP
Tree Top Adventure offers four unique outdoor activities divided into slow and fast paced activities. One slow paced activity is the Canopy and Funicular which is similar to the concept of a cable car, but, you’ll be seated on cable chairs in which you’ll be transferring from one station to another until you complete all eight stations.
TREETOP
My favorite Canopy ride
If you prefer to just walk around the area and fill your eyes with spectacular view, you could avail the Trekking and Skywalk. For the fast paced activities, Tree Top offers the Tree Drop, Silver Surfer and Superman.
Tree Drop is the most extreme activity that Tree Top offers in which you’ll be suspended 60 feet above the ground, mission impossible style, and you’ll be falling as fast as two to three seconds. Superman, as the name implies, is a horizontal motorized zipline in which you’ll be flying back and forth, Superman style. Silver Surfer is a diagonal zipline in which you’ll be standing on a specialized platform and you’ll be gliding up and down for three cycles.
Tree Top Adventure’s another branch, located at JEST Area Upper Mau Cubi Point, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, will also hold another press conference and ribbon cutting event on March 21, 2015 after the success of its first press conference held last February 21, 2015.
Whether you want to feel the breeze, slow down, be inspired with the view or experience heart pounding, adrenaline rush quenching activities, Tree Top Adventure has it all.

Parents and the New Generation of MILO Drinkers Bond over Chocomaltee Goodness

A few minutes until the weekend, lovelies!

I can’t wait as I count the minutes to 5 P.M.  (the time my weekend will officially start) while sipping my coffee with my MILO.

Yep, I drink my coffee with MILO.  My cup of coffee with my MILO is my comfort drink.  You will never catch me in a bad mood after I have my cup.

How can I be wrong? For over 50 years, leading beverage brand MILO has been warming the hearts and tummies of children from generations of Filipino families. With every cup brimming with energy-giving nutrients and the classic Chocomaltee flavor that Filipinos love, MILO has become a familiar mainstay in the breakfast table as the favorite drink in the morning for kids and adults alike.

MILO drink

A cup of the rich, chocolate malt drink evokes nostalgia and wonderful childhood memories to those who grew up with the drink.

Elena, a mother of a10-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter, shares how MILO would always help her gain the energy she needed for sports and other activities since she was a child.
“My mom introduced MILO to me. When I was younger, my mom would prepare a hot cup of MILO for me during breakfast, or after school, before I do my homework. Drinking it would make me feel energized and invigorated,” saysElena. “Until now, a warm cup or a cold glass of MILO, full of its Chocomaltee flavor, makes me feel renewed, energized, and ready for the day’s challenges.”
MILO’s distinct Chocomaltee flavor from a combination of malted barley, milk powder, sugar and cocoa, coupled with the goodness of ACTIGEN-E, a unique combination of vitamins and minerals which help to optimize release of sustained energy from food, is what makes is what makes it special. Children love the goodness of the Chocomaltee taste from a glass of MILO that gives them the energy essential in an active lifestyle.
“Now that I’m a mom, I have passed on my love for MILO to my children. I prepare MILO for them in the morning, and after school. For variety, I also come up with new ways to include MILO in their nutritious, well-balanced meals,” says Elena. “As they grow up, I hope they can also pass on the Chocomaltee goodness of MILO to their own children.”
And it is not just coffee partnered with MILO that is a winner for me (Just don’t give the coffee with MILO to your kids, ha?). Here are some simple ideas to enjoy MILO as a meal partner or a snack.

Zaful: Your new one-stop Online Fashion Store

I have to admit.  In line with a social call, I have decided in principle to avoid at all costs a mall that cut 60 pine trees older than my grandparents to pave way to a parking lot. That left me making a lot of shopping online lately!

Not that I am complaining (well, my wallet is).  I have found real deals online, like my phone which I got on sale and is much cheaper by about 30%!  Truly, gems can be found online, if you look really close enough.

Like this online fashion store which has a collection of beautiful, trendy, classic pieces, all at affordable prices.

How to Apply For T.I.N. : Local Employees

I get a lot of queries from readers regarding TIN. Here is a consolidated, updated guidelines on how to get the Tax Identification Number for employees, including transfer of registration of employees :

*Take note that this is for employees earning purely compensation income only
ID-100302326

WHAT IS THE TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN)?

The TIN pertains to that system-generated reference index number issued and assigned by the BIR to each and every person in its database. The TIN is usually required in practically all of the business and personal transactions you will make with government offices.

10169283_10204694092650569_3016356136865118507_n

The TIN comprises a 9-to-13 digit numeric code where the first 9 digits is your TIN. The last 4 digits is the branch code.

You may notice that some cards have only 3 digits in the branch code. The branch code digits may be increased depending on future BIR systems enhancements and policy declarations of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue.
