No, offense, Doc. B!
But Adrian is doing really well, despite the germs that I have been harboring for like two weeks na!
If you have been wondering why I am publishing lesser posts this month, blame it not on the busy holiday season. Just when I thought I would end this year without getting my yearly upper respiratory tract infection (I swear, it is like clockwork. I hope it won’t visit next year), I came up with an infected right ear, a congested left ear, and a very bad case of upper respiratory tract infection. I needed to stop my 4K daily run although I was not able to get my badly-needed rest because of the office party where we need to do a crazy ‘80s dance routine.
So, anyway, I was so worried this tough boy could catch my bug.
Not a chance!
Could it be because of what was inside this package which I got from Wert Philippines via Mommy Bloggers Philippines?

Here is the reason why I have not been blogging a lot lately.
I was sick.
Still am, actually.
With a glued left ear, an infected right ear, a sore throat and a cough.(At least, it is not that virus which spreads online, so, go on, keep reading )
I wish my son’s multi-vitamins is available for old fogeys like me and I wish I have known about these 7 ways to avoid being sick these holiday season.
Disclaimer:This is not supposed to replace expert medical advice, okay?
1. You have a pounding headache, a sore throat, and a fever AND YOU NEED TO BE AT THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PAGEANT IN AN HOUR!

Have you noticed it, too?
The tablet has taken over our kids’ lives!
It has become every child’s virtual hub.
My kids use it for watching their favorite TV series, playing online games, downloading all those photo apps for their cray-cray selfies…the tablet is practically their world.
In fact, I think I can order them to do their chores just by sending them a personal message on Facebook or sending them an e-mail.
And as much as I am in awe with how tech-savvy my kids’ generation is, I have bigger fears.

When you go on vacation or you need to be away from home for a long period of time, you can make sure your pet is safe by using dog boarding Detroit businesses, such as groomers and veterinarians, offer. There are several luxuries that your dog can experience that will make him feel like he is at home.
Most businesses have a way that you can monitor your dog while you are away. This is usually done by watching a video as a camera is placed in various areas of the kennel. Staff will greet your dog in a welcoming manner. There are different sizes of kennels available in most locations depending on the size of your dog. Once your friend gets settled, the fun can begin.
Your dog can have the finest amenities possible while you are gone. Meals are served twice a day, and there are snacks offered as well. There is a continuous supply of water so that your pet won't get thirsty. Many businesses refer to the kennel areas as suites as this is what they appear to be for dogs and cats. Play time is offered each day, usually in the morning and in the afternoon. There are times when all of the dogs play together, but if your pet seems a little shy, then individual play time can be arranged.
The staff will make sure the area is kept clean each day. If the dog needs anything, then someone can bring a treat or toy so that your pet is comfortable. Bedding supplies are in each area. These include a small bed and blanket. Bathroom breaks are offered through the day. You can discuss the bathroom pattern if your dog needs to go more often. Most locations will play music to help pets relax after a long day of playing. You will also find that the staff can help in teaching some basic commands, especially if you plan on being gone for an extended period of time. Environments are climate-controlled so that dogs aren't too hot or too cold.
One of the things to keep in mind before taking your dog for boarding is to ask questions. The staff will help in any way possible so that you feel good in knowing where your pet is staying for a day or longer.

A few days ago, you may have noticed this eye-catching photo on my Instagram:

This Beautiful Inside and Out Kit from our friends at Unilab made me think about what it means to be beautiful inside and out.
As I write this review, I am in my forties. Sometimes I look in the mirror or at selfies and say, “You look good, girl.” And I sometimes look at my other photos and say, “OMG, you have no right to be having those selfies!”
But in my forties, I honestly only feel thirty and I am quite surprised when I look at the mirror and don’t see myself at forty. I am not saying that I love the fine lines I see on my face or the freckles that I had since I was a little girl. I still want to be ten pounds lighter and six inches taller. The good news is that I have reached a point in my life where I feel like it’s all okay. I am who I am. I am comfortable with myself. I am comfortable in my own skin. And that, I think is my secret, as well as the secret of many happy, beautiful people I know, on how being beautiful inside truly means.
Now, on to these little aids we need to be beautiful inside and out.
