Isn’t it lovely!
Sooo lost for words (wipes drool from open mouth…) It is like shabby chic meets boho meets elegance (forgive me for not having enough designer lingo. Basta. It is soo maganda!)
This wonderland which is of course, located in my beautiful hometown, Baguio City, is just a few steps from the Little Flower Convent and Albergo Di Ferroca Hotel (where you can check out pizza cooked in a brick oven at Amare and Barn Chicken with Karee sauce at Roadhouse Barn) at Villamor Street, Barangay Lualhati, Baguio City. It used to be one of those beautiful old houses that I would ogle at as a child and wish that I have lived there.
Let’s check out the rooms…
(By the way, room rates in true Baguio fashion are soo reasonable: P2,500 for the superior rooms (Katie & Alicia), P4,500 for the deluxe rooms (Natalie) and P5,500 for the suites (Cristina & Petra).

People always come to me saying they want to invest, but don’t know how to start.
Don’t worry. I have been there.
The toughest part in starting to invest is at the beginning.
But you see, wanting to start investing but being scared at the same time won’t guarantee your future. What you need to do is arm yourself with as much knowledge as possible (one way is to ahem – read my blog) and plunge into building your financial empire (don’t worry, it is my dream, too!).
Years ago, I thought that stocks are only for the wealthy, but nowadays, you can actually start investing at P5,000.00. COL Financial offers COL Starter, an entry-level account suitable for long-term investments with a minimum investment of P5,000.00. BPI Investments Online also offers the same at a minimum investment of P5,000.00.
So here are 4 Types of Investment That Don’t Need A Lot of Money:
1. Mutual Funds

I am a shopaholic and I have wisened up.
I am doing my shopping the online way, the Groupon Coupon way.
In the past years, hundreds of online sites have sprouted offering a variety of stuff, perks and discounts, making us, the online shopper, literally confused. It is a jungle out there!
But there is one place I check out every time I want to save money (which is all the time!)- Groupon Coupons.

One big realization when you become a mom is that Me Time is non-existent time.
I used to spend an entire day in the spa, getting a luxurious massage, facial, foot spa, pedicure and manicure.
I used to love going to the salon for a stylish hairstyle and a lot of pampering.
I miss those days. I would not even dare go to the spa for a whole day once I begin thinking about the family time I will be missing with my kids and oh, don’t even tell me about the cost. These luxuries can be so expensive!
However, research says that a mom’s special “me” time heals the tired, harassed, body, mind and soul. Us moms should start focusing on ourselves!
That is why for two weeks now, I have been rewarding myself with a weekly “me-time” after work at a spa near my office. This special time I spend with myself makes me ready to tackle the weekend.
And oh, I don’t worry about how much I will be spending.
Let me tell you a secret.
I have been using Groupon.
Groupon gives awesome deals and discounts on any product or service. I love logging in to my Groupon account because there are so many deals that I could take advantage of. Like, I never would have known that I would be getting a great deal for the massage I will be having at the spa I go to!
This weekend, my teens plan on going to a nail spa. I used to just let them go there while I just do my DIY, but I think I will be checking on my Groupon now for some Health, Beauty & Wellness Groupons and will be going with them!
I’ve had it with the dreary weather!
So, to make things cheery, despite the damp and moldy feeling, I literally transport myself to the lazy summer days by literally rubbing summer on me!
I dig out that coconut-scented body lotion and slather it on.
And while basking on that summery scent, I transport myself to more summery ambiance by playing my old ukulele. It may be old and slightly out-of-tune, but hey, I always have my trusty korg tuner to bring back my ukulele’s beautiful summery chime.
So I am not a big gym rat (although I do my daily treadmill run everyday. At home. Seriously. Because nobody believes me when I tell them I run everyday. I just don’t look like it. But hey, you can check my Instagram. Those #days I am talking about are my daily runs.).
But here is one thing you can do for yourself when at the gym.
First march yourself right past the elliptical trainers and treadmills and into the locker room.
Wrap yourself in your fluffiest towel (bring one from home if your gym’s are all napkin-size) and enter the sauna.
Then sit some more.
As you dream of the beautiful weekend while listening to the piped in sound of the diatonic harmonica…

Hair removal can be a costly and time – consuming affair. However, as with every beautification process, it can also be made easy and permanent. Yes. Laser hair removal can be a good choice if you don’t want to repeat the boring process.
Other than being permanent, laser hair removal technique also has certain benefits. You might be curious, to know, correct? So, here are they laid for you.
With the political climate the way it is today, particularly during election years, Christians may find themselves caught between philosophies that are trending in society and what the Bible teaches. This is especially true when political action groups begin to push for a change. Then the media gets involved, and the controversy escalates.
