When you are trying to get pregnant, you should stop these 3 unhealthy habits.
Is it just me or is infertility becoming prevalent?
I have friends wanting so bad to conceive but can’t!
Some go the route of getting fertility treatments.
When you want to conceive and go through fertility treatments, either through a doctor or through natural means, you need to make sure everything is on track.
This means making your best to be healthy by reducing your caffeine intake, working out, eating the right diet, and taking the recommended fertility diet and supplements.
But as they say, Old Habits Die Hard.
There are some unhealthy habits that you don’t even notice that you are doing, but now that you are trying to create life, you should try your best to stay away from these three unhealthy habits.
Three Unhealthy Habits to STOP when you are trying to get pregnant
You are drinking too much coffee.
You may not do it all the time, but there are some days, especially when we are very anxious or stressed, when we drink loads of coffee or soda than normal.
What does this mean?
Yup, loads and loads of caffeine.
On a normal person, like me, the effect would be minimal.
For others, sleepless nights (I seriously know people who drink coffee at lunchtime and have a really bad time trying to sleep hours after).
But if you are trying to conceive and are having problems doing it, overloading on coffee is DISASTER!
Make sure that you either move away from caffeine or that you reduce it to safe levels. Keep in mind, safe levels tend to be no higher than 300 milligrams of caffeine.
Too much drama is affecting you.
You may not think that too much drama can affect you, but it does.
Every time you get overly involved in drama, you get upset or anxious or have some sort of definitely negative reaction.
This increases your stress which just totally increases the risks of your body going out of its routine which may derail your fertility goals.
You need to remain calm during your fertility and try to stay away from things that affect your emotions and make you feel stressed.
Stay away from unnecessary drama whenever possible, and oh, this includes TV and social media.
You are eating too many processed foods.
Processed foods contain higher levels of sodium, sugars, and preservatives. These can be causing a severe issue with your fertility plans.
or example, higher sodium levels lead to inflammation which can lead to pain. Pain can lead to stress and the stress can lead to depression and the lack of energy to do anything you need like exercise. Try to go with whole food and organic options instead, like our smoothie recipes for fertility
Remember, take a look at your current habits. If you find anything negative about them that you would not do while pregnant, then don’t do them while you are in fertility treatments. It takes about a month to remove bad habits and replace them with good ones, so give yourself time to change.
