I just want to let you know that all opinions are my own and I may earn from qualifying purchases. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Enjoy and feel free to share with your friends!

Teen girls can be such drama queens sometimes.  I should know!  I have been one. And I am raising two right now. And these are what I share to my girls. Here are tried and tested secrets to a lasting friendship!

Find time for one another.

Find Time For Your Friend Are you and your friends in separate classes, or worse, separate schools?  No matter how busy you are with academics and extra-curricular activities, make sure you set aside a few minutes everyday to check up on one another online or over the phone or jam when you have the time with moog theremini.  Making beautiful music with your besties surely is heavenly!

Take lots of photos!

Lean in for a big group hug and flash those happy smiles for the ultimate selfie!  Trust me, you will want to look back on all those fun memories when you’re older.

Be yourself.

The right friends make you feel confident and comfortable about who you are, flaws and all.

Fight right.

Even the most solid friendships cannot be spared of the occasional misunderstanding.  You don’t have to agree on everything, but you do have to learn to admit when you’re wrong.  Apologize and mean it – and know that the right kind of fighting actually strengthens a bond.

Besties before boys.

Establish rules on what should be done if two of you like the same guy, or if someone ends up falling for a friend’s ex.  But the overall rule should always be this:  Never EVER let a boy come between you and your friends.
