Tell me a teenage girl who does not want to dress up for Halloween.
Every girl wants to look pretty on Halloween and there are practically millions of cute teenage girl Halloween costume ideas out there!
I just can’t understand why she likes an Annabelle Halloween Costume!
I surely won’t let a baby or toddler be dressed like the Annabelle doll!

Something that’s been missing from Halloween a lot in recent years is actual horror. Most Halloween costumes now are based on popular characters that we love – you know, cutie stuff like these lovely Princess Halloween Costumes for teenage girls, instead of ones that we fear, despite Halloween supposedly being THE.SCARY.HOLIDAY.
This year, though, more Halloween costumes are being made based on those scary movie characters.
Who is Annabelle?
I bet you have seen The Conjuring series.
I did. Every single one of them.
I even read the Warren’s book where the story was based.
In real life, the cursed doll is a Raggedy Ann doll. For you young ones who were not around in the 1970’s, here is how a Raggedy Ann doll looks like (she has a partner named Raggedy Andy, by the way. I don’t know if they are supposed to be siblings or something).

Aww, how can that lovely red-haired doll be cursed…
Annabelle was introduced in the Conjuring, then she had her own special feature in Annabelle.
In Summer 2017, Annabelle: Creation was released and was a big box office hit, with a worldwide gross of $253,375,598 to date!

Look like Annabelle in Annabelle Halloween Costumes (and make them sooo scared they can’t sleep!)
In The Conjuring series, Annabelle looks way far from the cute Raggedy Ann doll.
She looks like a perfectly evil porcelain doll in a white dress.
She has thin eyebrows, and really scary-looking face! (I was thinking the film makers should have made her look lovely like all the other porcelain dolls that we know….)
Her hair is long and blonde, with pig tail braids, tied with a red ribbon, dressed in white with puffy sleeves and a red sash tied around her waist.
There are costumes available to have her look, like these ones I saw at Amazon:

Make a really scary face to match your creepy Annabelle Halloween Costume
If my daughter were to wear just the dress and the wig, she would look perfectly harmless.
Like, I imagine her singing a classical song on top of the hills.
Hehe.
An Annabelle Halloween Costume is not complete without an Uncanny Valley look!
To look your scariest, you need BLOOD!
Splatter some fake blood on your white Halloween Annabelle Costume dress, and you are on your way to Annabelle’s likeness.
Next, get a fake dagger like this one , pour on some fake blood, and complete the look by doing your scary makeup using this , and your mom will not recognize you anymore.
Group Costumes
There are also a few good opportunities for group costumes if you dress up as Annabelle.
You can have one of your friends dress like Chucky. Another one could be Jigsaw from the Saw franchise, and you could be Annabelle. You can also throw Freddie Krueger in!

You could also do a pairing costume where one person dresses up as the girl who plays with Annabelle in the movie, while the other person dresses up as Annabelle – a truly spooky option!
Now, these are the reasons why I don’t want my teenage daughter to dress like Annabelle!
