I have a bad upper back problem ever since I had my third child. He breastfed and we co-slept. He always ended up sleeping on my arm, making my arm and back sore all the time. Add to that countless hours balancing statements in front of the computer and I became the perfect poster person for the one with the. really. bad. upper. back. problem.
I went to therapy for a month which cured the pain. Aside from the massage, natural supplements like turmeric, hot compress and exercises I did with my therapist, she also used this tiny machine which delivered something like tiny electric currents on the painful part of my back.
I asked her what it was and she just said TENS.
TENS stand for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It is a tiny device, operates on battery device that is designed to stimulate your nerves, alleviating the pain.
When the TENS thingie is used on you, you can feel small electrical impulses, like tiny electrical shocks (more like a tiny tickle sensation actually). These small electrical impulses are said to reduce muscle pain.
I haven’t been back to therapy for a year, and my back pain is back, so I was beyond happy and relief when I got the chance to have this Tens Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager.
With plenty of computer work I was doing (It is tax season),
I was so excited when I was given the opportunity to review this Tens Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager Unit.
Right around the time I received this unit is when I had pulled a muscle in my back. Needless to say I was ready to try it out.
