by: Venessa I discovered this Baguio coffee shop from Facebook (where we all practically – even the old ones like my mom – hang out). A lot of my friends started posting Instagram-worthy pictures from this cafe and I, being a certified coffeeholic with a sweet tooth (a whole set of sweet teeth, actually) just had to try it with my sis, Nicole.
Studio Coffee Cafe + Deli is located at the basement of the the newest building of Norte Dame de Chartres Hospital, the Pueblo de Maria Building, at Upper General Luna Road, Baguio City. The cafe has a lot of food selections – from complete ulam with rice to burgers to salads and yummy desserts!!! Here’s what Nicole and I gorged on! Bestseller Frappucino & Carachoco. Yum
Nicole ordered the bestseller frap. Then I ordered the Carachoco which was really sweet. I loved it so much since I loved chocolate so much!! This drink is best recommended for people who are certified chocoholics like me. The frappes were put in long cylindrical glasses which made it sulit since the serving was a lot.
We also ordered our own foods. I ordered the bestseller Burger Grande. The burger grande was a serving of burger and nachos. And the name didn’t disappoint me since it is indeed, grande… It was huge!! I almost didn’t finish it. But I did since it was so yummy. Thumbs up!! Loved it so much!! As for Nicole, she ordered chopsueyy with rice because, sadly, there were no salads available (she is vegetarian, by the way). But she said it was fine because it was delicious!! For dessert we ordered cream puffs. The cream puffs were good. They weren’t too soft, too hard. Just right. Plus the cream inside tastes good and it was stuffed properly unlike the other cream puffs I’ve tasted that was bitin in filling.
Over all, this cafe is a place I would surely go back to with friends soon. The ambience is wonderful, considering the fact that it is situated within the Norte Dame Hospital compound which can get very busy. Plus the music is good!! All the hip and new songs are being played during our stay. I recommend this place to coffeeholics like me and for people who like a place to chill in.
Rating: Recommended for: People who like chilling with friends, people who are waiting for their turn during check up, and people who just plainly like to… chill. Location: Basement of Pueblo de Maria, Norte Dame, Gen. Luna Rd.
