So my brother dreamed of forming his own band and having me
on the keyboards as long as I take formal piano lessons, right ?(more like me
wishing he will take me in his band to play keyboards. He cannot seem to reconcile how I can turn chopsticks – which is the only piece I know aside from DoReMi – into rock music)

And how my friend began telling stories to creep me out?
I know you may be wondering if I went to my first piano
lesson or not.
lesson or not.
(If you want to read Why I Don’t Play The Piano Parts 1, 2
and 3, go read it now. I will wait…)

(Done? )
I went as far as the stairs…
The old stairs creaked like crazy and it was so darn silent
(except of course the piano music from the room) I can hear my footsteps
amplified a million times (that or I was so fearful I can hear myself
breathing! I reminded myself to buy shure headphones at musicians friend because these will certainly prevent me
from hearing scary sounds.

Then the nun music teacher went by the door.
And I gave out a scream. (My friend swore she heard me give out a bloodcurling scream.)
And I ran.
And generally made a fool of myself.
Now that I think about it, what I did was very
embarrassing.
embarrassing.
I saw the nun in the
school grounds and she was very pretty and had a ready smile for everyone.

I never did go back. Ever. Again. I was thinking maybe I could ask my mom to teach me instead (she plays
the piano without having formal lessons!). I should have learned to play the guitar, except that my fingers, like my aunt said, is made for piano. Back to my time, a guitar is sized in a standard way, which means I can’t even do the cords because my fingers were tiny! Now, you can find guitars in different sizes. By the way, I am a whiz at Guitar Hero (and by the way, I am the only non-musical instrument playing person in the family. Hubby plays the guitar, Daughter 1 plays the guitar and sings, Daughter 2 plays a little guitar and ukulele, and oh, my eight year old boy wants to play drums (although the daughters and the hubby sing better. I think he takes it from me hehe.)

I never learn how to play any instrument either even how I tried to practice how to play a guitar. I sing though, even I'm not a good singer I sing anyhow just for fun and to scare the rats away lol.
When I was young, I used to day dream that we have a grand piano at home. I used to dream that I know how to play it, too. But no, it never happened. My brother tried teaching me how to play the guitar, but he said my fingers are too short because I couldn't reach some of the strings. Tsk tsk. 🙁
Wow! Talented family! DI bale sis ikaw naman yung manager nila hehe
hahaha… natawa ako sa chopsticks! My dad plays the piano too the "widow" way.
