Hi, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Is your husband jealous because you spend more time with your child?
Can you still remember the last time you laughed together?
When was the last time you guys spent time alone without the kids?
I am sharing to you today Happify’s very first infographic on the science behind a happy relationship.
First of all, what is Happify?
More than a year ago, I was at odds with some people. In fact, I was even at odds with myself. I felt something was missing, and so I decided to take little baby steps to have a happier life.
Around that time, I was (thankfully) invited to be one of the earlier pioneers of Happify.
Happify’s “science-based tracks / activities use research into the brain, emotions, and behavior to teach you the key skills to happiness.” These tracks were developed to reduce stress, boost optimism, gain confidence and enjoy life more. You are also introduced to the Happify community which is always there to cheer you on and encourage you throughout your journey.
Around the last week of October last year, Happify finally was ready for the world. Happify no longer required an invite, which meant that anyone can join and begin their journey to happiness.
More tracks were released including a track inspired by the bestseller The Happiness Advantage which includes activities that will retrain your brain to capitalize on positivity, boost your productivity and maximize your potential at work.
The Infographic
I am so sure most of us can proudly claim that we are happy in our current relationships. However, and don’t nail me on this, I have noticed a lot of new moms or moms of toddlers or preschoolers (trust me, I have been into this situation too) expressing their love to their children, but totally neglecting their partners. (By the way, this infographic includes some fascinating facts on how marriage and kids can affect your happiness levels at different stages) However, there are tiny changes you can make that can boost your relationship to a higher level.
Read on, mommies and oh, you can always join Happify here!
Oh this is cute! The Michelangelo effect is new to me, but it's a nice one! Ha ha May I share this with my readers as well? 🙂
Sure, Meikah! You can share it and you may also want to join Happify. I think I was an easier-to-get-along person when I joined them hehe
Haha! Daddy Allan and I have endless chit chats. I enjoyed reading through. I can relate e, hehe.. Thank you for shraing 🙂
