Happy weekend!
For most Filipino families, Saturdays spell hitting the mall.
Just don’t burn your moolah!
Here are my rules for managing your money (and oh, don’t just do them on Saturdays. Do them every SINGLE day!)
IF IT DOES NOT FIT, DON’T BUY IT.
Don’t buy something just because it is cheap or on sale.
LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD AT HOME.
If you still want it after you’re home, it’s worth the effort of going back to get it.
SAVE UP FOR THAT ONE SPECIAL BUY,
rather than buying lots of little things at one go.
NEVER JUST PAY OFF YOUR MINIMUM PAYMENT ON CREDIT CARDS.
– it can take years to clear the balance.
KEEP A BUDGET TO PROVIDE AN ACCURATE PICTURE OF YOUR FINANCES.
You will instantly notice where you can shift priorities or save.
PAY BILLS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH
so that you know how much you have left to live on for the rest of the month.
PUT ASIDE A LITTLE EACH MONTH INTO A SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
The interest will be a welcome bonus.
And when your “little savings” will grow, you can try investing in the stock market. Through the guidance of Bo Sanchez and a team of financial advisers whose goal is to “help good people become rich”, you can also personally grow your finances like I did.
You can join the club, too. If you are interested, click here and listen to Bo explain what it is all about.
And oh, you can read this eBook about how his guidance is helping his maids gain financial wealth and spiritual abundance. Go ahead, get it. It is FREE!
