One of the things Moms like me all over the world FEAR.
That’s the time when our daughters, our once little girls, start to notice boys.
So when our daughters start to ask us #OnGettingToKnowHim, besides telling them to just forget it and start noticing boys when they are like 30, here’s what we can tell them:
Hang out, have fun, sing songs, play the guitar with vintage guitar picks, and don’t rush this exciting stage. Take your time to get to know each other well, and don’t hide behind masks just to impress him. Be yourself and let the Real You shine. Let him fall in love with the person you really are, not the girl you pretend to be. The best relationships are built on a solid foundation of friendship. It is important to know one another’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as each other’s simple thrills and pet peeves.
