I just want to let you know that all opinions are my own and I may earn from qualifying purchases. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Enjoy and feel free to share with your friends!

I am using an old Inspiron netbook for all my accounting work.  I have it for over five years now and so far,
it has been good to me.  It offered the
convenience of typing reports and making spreadsheets that my iPad cannot give
me anywhere, even while at the coffee shop.
Lately, however, I have been seeing some lines
on the screen.  I am now thinking if I
should go to a Dell computer repair or just buy a new one.
If I were to buy a new one, I will definitely be getting
the same brand.  My netbook which has
been with me for over five years gave me the following which are the things I will
definitely consider when I do decide to get a new one:
PRICE HAS TO BE CHEAP REASONABLE.
After all the spending I did during the
holiday season, I am on the lookout for a cheap netbook.  However, I do need one with updated
specs.  A netbook in the $300 -$400 will
be fine with me.
IT HAS TO DELIVER.
Although the price may be cheap and its size
is small, the netbook I am going to get should deliver.  Its size should not mean that it will not
perform as well as the bigger one I use at my office.  It should be able to run all the Microsoft
Office programs I always use for my reports fast, make me check my mail and of
course, do some networking on my social media accounts.
IT MUST HAVE A LONG BATTERY LIFE.
My old netbookโ€™s battery life averages for
four hours, while my older one does not run on batteries anymore.  My new criteria is that the battery life has
to last for at least ten hours. I do fieldwork a lot and having a long battery
life is a must-need on my list.
IT MUST BE IN PINK IN A PASTEL COLOR!

I am a pink person (obviously), so I want a
pink one, although I would settle for other pastel colors, or pantone maybe,
which they say is the color of the year.

Sis, what exactly is pantone color? I only know the pantone color charts…and that's a lot of colors in different intensities. Speaking of netbooks, mine is just a 3-cell one so it's just basically 2 hours…what I do is also bring the power cable and plug it if I'm going to use it for more than that. For work related things, it's always been the desktop for me. Netbooks are for watching movies and surfing the net and playing games lang, rarely used for work-related things…and my tablet can do that also so the netbook got shelved hehehe…It's still working though and I've had it for almost 5 years na rin.

I am planning to buy a laptop or netbook. Though we have one na that Daddy is using kasi his laptop from our company crashed already. I'm asking him to have it replaced already so di muna ako bibili ng netbook hehe. Actually, I don't need the laptop naman but in preparation lang for my work at home dream na sana this year na. Praying for that the soonest ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm sure you'll be able to find one that fits your specifications. With the advent of new gadgets these days, netbooks have become much more affordable to consumers. Plus they're less bulky to carry than a laptop. ๐Ÿ™‚

We're the same! Ako naman, I have my Lenovo Ideapad for almost 2 years now. It never failed me, even though I bought it for just around P16k. I didn't buy a full laptop na kasi I don't need much naman eh; also, I prefer using something light and portable. Plus: it's pink and floral! ๐Ÿ˜›

I think I should go with the Orchid Purple symbolize for the color of the year and one thing to consider also is the battery life and brand of the netbooks also the price should be reasonable. I'm sure you'll get some good deals nowadays..:)

Things I am considering in buying netbook are the RAM and the HDD capacity which I think fits to reasonable price.

I am also considering a laptop for me. I think I need a bigger gadget because I need the driver on it.

Wow, you were able to handle your netbook quite well. My last netbook only lasted for more than 3 years. It was from Samsung. I just bought a new one before I came back home to Philippines last October. This time, I switched to Toshiba. So far, it's doing great and I wish it will last longer.

I have a laptop. I wanted a high performing one but I cannot afford the lightweight one so a heavy laptop I carry around. Good thing I work from home most of the time.

If I'm to choose I'll go for a pink color also or yellow. But for now, I'll stick with my asus netbook and my desktop at home. No plans and no budget for a new one pa.

I happened to see the Nokia Lumia phone and it runs on Windows…it's kinda pricey for me at 35k so I just placed it into my bucketlist (for now) ๐Ÿ˜‰
