I just want to let you know that all opinions are my own and I may earn from qualifying purchases. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Enjoy and feel free to share with your friends!

The rain has stopped.
The weather has never been better.
It is time to get your kids out and let them burn some serious
energy at the playground!
Except that you won’t like them playing on this rundown swing…
Why don’t you finally plunge on assembling your kids’ very
own swing set using swing set hardware at SwingforSwingSet.com?
I know, I know…I have been drumming on you people to save and
to invest and to forego unnecessary expenses, but this may be one of the
biggest and best purchases and your little ones will thank you forever, I
swear.
Think of a swing set as an investment.  It is a part of every child’s life.  Imagine their joy, their squeals, their
screams when they go on that swing. I personally still go for that old swing in
the children’s playground even if it says children above twelve years old can’t
play on it.  And I do get scared when it
squeaks of my weight (a signal that I have to get off!).  But it does bring back lovely memories of my youth…
So, after you finally decided to purchase and assemble a
swing set than risk the germs, the peeling paint, and the squeaking chains of
that swing set in your local playground, you are good, right?
Not just yet!  Aside
from the price tag, you have to consider:
WHERE YOU WILL PUT THE SWING SET.
Swing sets come in different shapes and sizes.  Measure the area where you plan to put your
swing set in.  Be sure to add a little
extra space around the swing.  Place it
in a flat, safe area with absolutely no garden ornaments or other objects that
your children will accidentally bump into.
WHAT THE SWING SET IS MADE OF.
For younger children, slides with plastic seats are
ideal.  However, make sure that you will
install it in a shaded area in your yard.
During hot days, the metal chains and plastic seats can get very
hot  It would probably be a good idea to
look for a swing set with a canopy on top.
I bet most of you guys grew with those wooden swing sets and
I bet you got splinters from time to time, too.
If you decide to get a wooden swing set, make sure that the wood is
continually treated to that they will not splinter.
DURABILITY.
If you are going to assemble the swing set yourself, make
sure to follow all the instructions and be able to assemble it yourself.  The swing set must be strong and
durable.  The swing set may be ideal for
kids now, but they will grow.  Make sure that
you will get a swing set that will last.
Take good care of it, maintain it, and I guarantee you that
your swing set will be full of memories.
That is why I called purchasing it an investment.

It's nice to put the swing set in the backyard if you have one.. But it is hard also to get one if you don't have enough space for it. Nice tip by the way! Surely your kids love it.

I've wanted a swing set since I was just pregnant. Ang problema ay kung saan naman namin ilalagay! So maybe we'll just use the one at the playground na lang. 😀

I also want to buy Matt a swing set. I saw one in Little Trikes. Pricey pero mukha naman durable but then we have no space for it and I fear for Matt's safety kaya I just forget that idea, hehe.

Yes… We should check the swing sets properly while choosing it. The material of the swing set should be the first priority as the children safety should be considered first.
