As Tropical Storm Maring Memes like these flooded my Facebook Page (Filipinos love to laugh, I swear, and too bad we didn’t have internet social media when we were kids!):
more areas have been declared under a state of calamity. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the following areas are under a state of calamity (List as of 8:00 AM, August 22, 2013:
PROVINCES: Bataan, Pampanga, Cavite,Laguna and Rizal
CITIES: National Capital Region (Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Malabon, Marikina, Pasay)
Ilocos Sur (Candon City)
Pangasinan (Dagupan City)
Tarlac (Tarlac City)
TOWNS: Pateros (NCR)

The Pinoy spirit is truly inspiring! And we find time to come up with funny graphics pa rin kahit lumulubog na ang bansa. But seriously, somebody has to do something about the floodings. Taon taon na lang.
