I just want to let you know that all opinions are my own and I may earn from qualifying purchases. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Enjoy and feel free to share with your friends!

I didn’t know there was a typhoon !  (Okay, it was a storm before 11:AM today when Pag-ASA officially announced that Santi morphed into a typhoon)
From Roly’s FB-Shoo! Santi …. Shoo!
Every October of every year (I can prove this because I made a post about it last year!), I always get some sort of Upper Respiratory Tract Infection and end up with either A. No Voice at all (which my kids love!  until they realize I am sooo not cooking dinner at all! )  or B. A Body with different kinds of pain (throbbing pain, muscle pain, headaches, you name it ).
This year, it is A.

I am missing my voice, seriously.  And I was looking forward (I actually dreamed about it!) to having this day on my own, resting and hoping to get my voice back by tomorrow, until I heard the sirena twice a little after 6 AM today, meaning, it was signal no. 2, I didn’t need to whip up some ten-minute breakfast (like popping Spam in the oven toaster), I can go back to sleep (and dream of recovering my voice), and the kids are staying home!
Obviously, since the kids are home, I haven’t gotten the rest I dreamed about last night, which explains why I am making this post (my virus doesn’t transcend the blogosphere, so you can read this without worrying about losing your voice as well.)
By the way, do you know what VIRUS, as in the Computer Virus, means?  It is actually an acronym.  It is VITAL INFORMATION RESOURCES UNDER SIEGE.  Years ago, in the early ’90s when my dad was part of a team on appointments or something at the City Hall, he actually asked each applicant what VIRUS meant.
So, anyway, it is now Signal No. 3 in my part of the world, although the place looked perfectly normal.  Gloomy, maybe, but it is too quiet…no fog, no rain.  Here’s me praying the typhoon won’t do any damage because the typhoon is going to pass Benguet by tomorrow and here is hoping Baguio won’t become a calamity area.

Ingat, everyone!

I'm supposed to go home today, before lunch time…now I'm not sure if I should travel because my province is under storm signal no. 3
