“Caring – about people, about things, about life – is an act of maturity.” – Tracy McMillan

When I think of Vicks, it reminds me of my childhood days when I had really bad asthma attacks and my mom would lovingly rub Vicks on my chest.

I bet everyone of you had childhood memories of Vicks, ranging from the funny (like your mom would rub Vicks on your eyes to make you sleep ) to the bizarre (like rubbing Vicks and putting onion on the soles of your feet to cure your terrible cough  – you have to cover them with socks after, of course, and be prepared for that onion smell!).

What is common in all these childhood memories is the healing power of a #TouchOfCare.

Watch this heartwarming true story of Hernando, a tough guy in the slums of Manila whose heart was literally softened by an innocent, abandoned child.

And oh, it’s okay to cry…especially when Hernando says, “People say I gave him a better life. The truth is he made mine worth living”
