So, like I was saying in Part 2, I was on my way to my first ever piano lesson excitedly when my friend told me about a skull on top of the piano.
Of course, it was just one of those stories going around, but I was a very impressionable eight-year old!
I bet https://pianodoremi.com.sg/kawai-piano-singapore/ has this red piano!
And she didn’t stop there.
“Sister has a ruler and would slap your fingers with it if you don’t play well.”
Ha. I can take that. I would be ok with it, especially if the ruler is made of plastic, like the Orion rulers (Wooden rulers are not manufactured anymore, are they?)
“And when you can’t play a piece, you will be held for hours in the room to practice. Even after dark!
And the worst part, the pianos play on their own when it gets dark.
“And on some days, you may even see a headless nun playing the piano!”
“And as I stared at her wide-eyed, I had visions of my aunt being disappointed in me and giving my piano lesson tuition money to my brother so that he can buy the acoustic guitar tuner at guitar center.
Piano for dracula only…as they say…try to learn and purchase one.
Those are really scary reason why not to play a piano. I have probably 0 skills when it comes to music.
I remember that I commented on this one. since, it' good to purchase one.
Hahaha you got spooked eh? My daughter love piano!
Hahaha… I've heard similar stories too when I was learning piano lessons but not from a nun. My teacher did carry a "wooden" (unfortunately for me!) ruler which hits my hands every time I miss a note or not at par with the standard she had set for me. Oh well, I still didn't finish my piano lessons…
I so love how creative your writing sis, it is so enjoyable to read. Para lang ako nanunuod ng movie ahihi..
Hay naku sis, ang hirap gumawa ng post ke chief hehe
You have a great imagination, sis. I like how you put it all together.
I also want to learn to play piano. Kaya lang pungok mga daliri ko so super hirap.
YAY! That's scary!!!
But really, I wish I can write the way you do, Ate.
