Creamy, fruity citrus and banana smoothie with plain Greek Yogurt!

Ingredients
  • 2 Ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 oranges, peeled and sliced
  • 3 cups plain Greek yogurt use nut-based yogurt if you are vegan
  • 2 tbsp grated orange zest (from orange)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup sugar optional
Instructions
  1. Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender that will blend all the ingredients. I like using Ninja Master Prep Professional!

  2. In a small saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil over medium-high heat. Simmer and stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves, which would be about 5 minutes.  Cool for 20 minutes. 

  3. Add the Greek yogurt, banana,oranges, orange zest, vanilla extract, and ice.

  4.  Blend until the mixture is thick, creamy and smooth (around 3 minutes)

  5. Pour into glasses and serve.
